How We Help
We are community focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place.
We provide companionship, general light housework and health aid to support aging in home seniors who are independent but can benefit from reliable assistance.
Our fees are charged by the hour with some minimums, and vary in price depending on the level of service requested.
Consistency is The Key
Our founders have cared for hundreds of seniors within care home environments and learned the importance of being consistent at having the same staff interacting with Loved Ones.
From a scheduling perspective, it's not typically possible for only one staff member to be exclusively assigned to a Loved One, but our proprietary scheduling system is specifically designed to prioritize consistency in the assignment of staff as we want to do all we can to ensure the Loved Ones will recognize who is attending.
We Are Not Nurses
That means we can observe and report on the Loved One's condition, but we cannot evaluate those conditions or make medical recommendations.
Our Services are price tiered in 3 levels
- Companion Services: where we schedule regular visits with Loved Ones wherever they live (independently or in a care home) and provide regular social interaction such as playing games, assisting with pet care and going for light walks.
- Home Support Services: where our staff will additionally provide light housekeeping duties around the home; tidying up the kitchen, changing bed sheets, laundry, vacuuming, checking on medication inventory and chauffeuring them to outside appointments.
- Health Aid Services: this level of support is provided by Health Care Aides who have been educated and certified. This is the only level that can assist with; supervising medication, taking vital signs, bathing, changing bandages/dressings, and replacing incontinence disposables.
